In September of 2019, Whirltronics Inc., a market leader in lawnmower blade production and metal manufacturing, broke ground on a 20,000 square foot addition to its current facility. The interior was completed in March, and the parking lot and landscaping are projected to be finished by July.

Whirltronics completed its last expansion in 2015. The sustainable growth they have seen in the past five years again necessitated the newest addition. The support of the local government and the State of Minnesota has helped make this addition possible. This expansion will help Whirltronics meet its goals to increase their manufacturing capacity while creating efficiencies to streamline their product flow throughout the shop. The added space will also offer more room to develop their storage and shipping process.

The 20,000 square foot addition also includes expansion to the employee lunchroom and locker room areas. Whirltronics will be increasing the number of employees on each shift over the next year.
