The holiday season is in full swing at Whirltronics, and around here, that means more than decking the halls. Each year, our team looks forward to spreading joy, supporting local families, and giving back to the community that has supported us for all these years. This December, we’re proud to highlight three meaningful initiatives our employees participated in: Toys for Tots, Adopt-a-Family through the Buffalo Rotary Club, and the Bridging the SNAP Gap program through Resurrection Church.
From warm clothing to toys to bags of groceries, Whirltronics employees stepped up once again to make the season brighter for local families.
Toys for Tots
If you’ve visited our front office this month, you’ve probably seen the overflowing donation bin, and it’s all thanks to the generosity of our team and our community. This year, Whirltronics proudly served as an official Toys for Tots drop-off site. Employees were able to drop donations near the secure employee entrance, and community members could bring toys directly to the front office. Every contribution makes a difference, ensuring local children experience the joy and magic of the holidays.
Adopt-a-Family Through the Buffalo Rotary Club
Giving back isn’t just about gifts, sometimes it’s about helping families meet essential needs. This season, Whirltronics employees participated in the Buffalo Rotary Club’s Adopt-a-Family program, providing clothing, winter outerwear, and other necessities to families in our area.
From cozy coats to warm winter accessories, these donations help ensure that local children stay safe and bundled up for Minnesota’s cold months ahead. We’re grateful to everyone who contributed to making these families’ holidays brighter and warmer.
Bridging the SNAP Gap
In addition to toys and clothing, our team also helped fight local food insecurity by participating in the Bridging the SNAP Gap program through Resurrection Church. Whirltronics employees donated six full bags of groceries, helping bridge the gap between what families receive through SNAP benefits and what they actually need.
With rising food costs, these contributions go a long way in supporting local households during an already challenging season.
