2019 Year in Review
Whirltronics was proud to announce big changes in 2019.
Facility expansion. A 20,000 square foot expansion began in October, and is on track to be completed in the spring of 2020. Bringing a new employee lunch area and locker room, as well as increasing manufacturing space. Construction so far has progressed on track and will continue through the winter months.
“We are excited for 2020 and settling in to a new normal for our team. We will have additional space, allowing us to create additional efficiencies in a number of areas,” says President Eric Fink. “The expansion will really position us for future growth.”
Whirltronics is a market leader in lawn mower blade production and metal manufacturing, incorporating lean manufacturing principles into its business model.
Awards and Achievements. In 2019, Whirltronics was honored to receive the Honda Power Equipment supplier award for delivery and the American Honda Supplier Performance Award.
The Whirltronics Team. Whirltronics prides itself on the versatility and stability of its team. As the company continues to grow, they focus on creating a positive experience for their staff. From quarterly luncheons, to inclusion activities, Whirltronics understands the importance the value of employee engagement.
“Human Resources has done an excellent job over this year adding to our team,” says Eric. “Our production team has stabilized and that has allowed us to implement a quality training program that offers cross-training, providing additional efficiencies in a number of areas.”
