What is your current position at Whirltronics and what does it entail? “I am the Production Manager at Whirltronics. My objective as the production manager at Whirltronics is to engage a team of 7 supervisors to accomplish our organizational objectives. We do this by focusing on our core values. These core values (compassion, encouragement, collaboration, honesty, trust, passion, and safety) lay the foundation for our team to successfully navigate the variety of challenges that arise along the way.”

What is one challenge about this position? “Understanding what I don’t know.”

Can you describe a typical workday? “The beauty of this role is that each day is different in its own way. I focus on finding the rocks each day. I try to identify 1 rock (thing) that was encouraging from that day and add that rock to my collection. I also look for the 1 rock (thing) that I could have done better and I use that rock as a stepping stone to lead me to improvement for the next day.” 

What is one thing you wish you knew before working at Whirtronics?  “I wish I knew that this company and the opportunities within were available prior to joining the team.”

What is your favorite thing about working at Whirltronics? “The people! The team at Whirltronics is a fantastic group of people who are compassionate about others and very passionate about what we do.”

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time outside of work? “I enjoy spending time with my 2 daughters and watching them excel in dance, golf, volleyball, art, swimming, and school.”
